Until 2008 I'd never run a full mile in my life. That year, I made a New Year's Resolution to run a 5K. A few of my girlfriends joined me and we posted our training (we used the Couch to 5K plan) on a shared blog. I completed that goal a few months later, with a time of exactly 34 minutes. 

Since then, I've run and raced many distances, including 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, marathons and adventure races. I love running, and I don't think I'll ever stop.
